Reporting to the MRO Sourcing Manager, the MRO Buyer will manage the procurement initiatives for various goods and services, including but not limited to: PPE, Chemicals, PTB, Electrical/Electronics,
Industrial Supplies, and various other MRO goods and services.

Key responsibilities include:
- Manage MRO spend activities for Whirlpool’s Fort Smith, AR location.
- Help the MRO team achieve cost savings objectives.
- Serve as a leader for multiple procurement projects with limited daily direction.
- Lead key vendor/supplier negotiations.
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers.
- Actively participate in assigned project teams and partner with corporate MRO procurement for the development and execution of global MRO sourcing strategies.
- Manage supply base and supplier relationships on a local, regional, and national level.
- Build out processes and systems to support better spend visibility & process compliance.
